GOA SU-RAJ PARTY DECLARES ITS FIRST TWO CANDIDATES [OF THE INTENDED MANY] IN THE FIRST BATCH FOR THE GOA LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY ELECTIONS, 2016-17.
In keeping with its firm intention of fielding more than 21 candidates in the coming Goa Legislative Assembly Elections, the GOA SU-RAJ PARTY –GSRP has decided to be the early bird to declare its CANDIDATES for 10-ALDONA and 11-PANJIM Constituencies, so that GOA’s electors are sensitized of the acute need of Goa to have its OWN HIGH COMMAND IN GOA in order to reduce and to redress the destructive and counter productive effects the National High Commands have had on the psyche of Goa and Goans, with Goans losing out on every front, may it be its land, employment, education, preservation of Goa’s sensitive ecological balance, health, sanitation & hygiene, and most importantly the diminishing respect for its citizens, especially senior citizens and the fair sex, as was demonstrated on 21st. November, 2015 in the Capital City Panjim, with the high-handed and callous handling of the mass of people by the GOA POLICE under the guise of Section 144, when they assembled to peacefully demand justice for Fr. Bismarque Dias at the ferry wharf, Panjim, while at the same time the City of Panjim was rocking to the colourful International Film Festival of India a kilometer away.
Goa’s day to day running is, sadly, through heavy public borrowings, with public debts crossing all limits and presently standing [unofficially] at Rs. 60,000 crores. This burden of public debts is weighing down heavily on Goa’s posterity and in all probability renders it futureless in the foreseeable future unless something drastic is done to curtail the profligate spending of the hard-earned tax-payer’s money by our self-centered successive governments.
As publicly stated by Ex Supreme Court Justice Markandey Katju recently, REVOLUTION is the need of the hour in this country, which does not allow its Parliament to function for months on end, and religious intolerance has grown out of proportions with the installation of the communal RSS-backed Government at the Centre. According to Justice Katju, “the dilapidated system under the present CONSTITUTION must be torn down to replace it with a new SYSTEM OF GOVERNANCE so that lives and living standards of the country’s citizens must not only improve but be seen to be improved”.
GOA SU-RAJ PARTY is a REVOLUTIONARY PARTY born 15 years ago, having grown its roots deep into the sacred soil of GOA to withstand all round pressures, not bothering to adorn itself with colourful foliage much before its time has come, at the cost of its dependable roots. These previous years having been productively used in its promotion, contesting 8 seats in 2002, 1 in 2005, 1 in 2007 and 2 in 2012, it is now ready to lead GOA into the REVOLUTION, to tear-down Goa’s dilapidated system of bad and non-effective governance, and to replace it with a new SYSTEM OF GOVERNANCE which will stand the test of times to come to the satisfaction of the people of Goa who have been hungry to re-experience the governance that existed pre 1961.
Considering that any futuristic political dispensation of GOA cannot get into a grandiose electoral escapade without having its vibrant ‘grass-roots’, question that will be asked by political pundits is: “DOES GOA SU-RAJ PARTY HAVE CREDIBLE GRASS-ROOTS ORGANIZATION ON THE BASIS OF WHICH IT HAS DECIDED TO CONTEST WITH MORE THAN 21 SEATS?” The frank answer to this question is ‘NO’. and, we are quick to say that a mega contest like this is impossible without the existence of a well organized, well groomed and dedicated grass-roots organization. Having said that, we want to go a step further to say that setting-up of grass-roots system takes much dedication and efforts, and once accomplished, it has to be effectively watered and/or serviced, lest it gets scorched and dried-up, where a second attempt at reviving the same is very difficult and nigh impossible, having once failed to keep it going. This Party has a credible grass-roots system, but it has not attempted to put it in place due to the Party’s non-ability to keep it serviced, also with people showing lethargy in coming into the system when they see that this Party has no credible source of finances. Therefore the Party has decided to put the same in place in the ‘REVERSE ORDER’ with the appointments of the CANDIDATES for the Constituencies, first, who shall be responsible to appoint the key people in key positions rather then the Party engaging in this task. Whereas in the ‘FORWARD’ procedure the various key people in the key positions who are considered potential candidates shall elect from amongst themselves the LEADER whom the Party recognizes as the Candidate. The self-financing system of the grass-roots takes over with the Party’s policy of 70% roll-back into the constituency from the funds that the constituency has generated, thus cultivating a competitive spirit for one Constituency to excel over the other. The Party shall declare its other candidates periodically until its intended numbers are achieved and the target is set for March-April, 2016.
The question that many will want to ask is: ‘WHY MORE THAN 21, WHY NOT A FEW WITHOUT SPREADING YOURSELVES THIN, TO MAKE YOUR DEBUT WITH ATLEAST ONE OR TWO SEATS TO START WITH?
The answer is very simple. This Party is ready and capable of forming and running the government flawlessly if it is given the mandate, primarily because its MLAs shall be freshers and dedicated to the Party’s SYSTEM of Governance. This SYSTEM OF GOVERNANCE is a written down system with its parameters set and agreed upon by all candidates through filing notarized affidavits before being given the tickets. Any disagreement later is ruled out as to how the party will move once in the saddle. And the best part of this SYSTEM is that it is totally different from the one that has been in place and totally effective, where the selection of the CM will be through the electoral college and not by MLAs voting, where the Cabinet [of 5 only] shall be simultaneously elected along with the CM, and portfolios distributed all at once. Besides, everyone wants a change from the Congress and the BJP. Right numbers send the right signals and if Goans really want change, who else is better suited than GSRP? With its ‘after elections’ written down procedures catering to belt-tightening exercises to save tax payer’s money with a lean and disciplined government in place not more than a couple of day after the election results are declared, is this not what GOANS who are fed up with stagnation, want? Is this possible with the Congress and the BJP without MLAs fighting and elbowing each other for plum postings? and Ministers demanding plum portfolios? Should GOANS desire to see the change, they will have to opt for it, and, for that reason, sufficient numbers is a must to send the right signals to the electors. Therefore, the decision of this Party to contest from a minimum of 30 seats, with all fresh, young faces and raring to go, so that non-performing coalition government formation with its inherent self-centered pushes and pulls avoided at all costs. Above all, this Party does not want to be answerable to the Goan electorate as to why it could not give them sufficient number of candidates to vote for, when they were ready to vote for a change. And should this Party not be able to field 30 candidates at the end of the day, then our answer shall be “ THE DOORS WERE OPEN FOR YOU TO WALK IN, BUT YOU CHOSE NOT TO. THEREFORE YOU NEED TO PUT THE BLAME AT YOUR FEET AND NOT AT OURS. ”
Again, the big question that crops up is: ‘WHO IS GOING TO BANK-ROLL THESE MANY CANDIDATES?” This Party’s intentions are very clear. It will not go to the money-bags and be pulled down later through strings attached to those bags to provide personalized services and favours. The Party wants to be independent and free from all obligations, so that it can concentrate on unleashing effective good governance sans the ingredients of corruption. And, money-bags is the genesis of all corruption. Example MOPA, TIRACOL, CARMONA, ELECTRONIC CITY AT TUEM, THE THIRD MANDOVI BRIDGE, IFFI, MARINAS, THE RP-2021 ITSELF ETC… The Party’s slogan will hold good for these elections as it was with all previous elections which says: ‘ SMALL MONEY FROM A LOT OF PEOPLE MAKES BETTER SENSE THAN BIG MONEY FROM A FEW” We see big money from a few in play in Delhi with the AAP in the saddle and the city’s pollution levels having crossed all time high with Delhi being tagged as the most polluted city in the world, presently. After coming to power the AAP of Arvind Kejriwal is alleged to have obliged big and small industrialist by relaxing the pollution norms and to self-regulate their pollution controls. Nothing else could explain this better. Contrary to this, GSRP has decided to tap the people for small contributions which will be through distributing of PLEDGE COUPONS [of Rs. 100/- only]. Since this Party has started early, it will not require expensive campaigns. Basic financing necessity shall be assuredly met through a lot of good-will that will flow, along with the co-operation by the people to see the objectives of this Party, through. For this, the Party’s election strategy will come to its help which heavily depends on motivational objectives and ‘NETWORKING FOR THE CHANGE’.
GSRP shall not be averse to an arrangement of alignment with like minded forces to come together to defeat the non-performing evils that Goans desire to banish. But to accomplish this task, the party must be seen as the ‘strong contender’ in the first place. Besides, with its in-housed strong belt-tightening exercises viz. 5 member cabinet only, no chairmanships and directorships of Government Corporations and Institutions to MLAs [Politicians] , it shall be in a better position to set a lean and clean agenda for the aligning forces, forcing them to meet with the Party’s hard resolves at least half-way around if not full, knowing fully well that no aligning forces will have the stomach to digest this Party’s hardened resolves.
This Party is fully confident of running Goa’s Government flawlessly if given the full mandate, as it has a qualified, WRITTEN DOWN ROADMAP TO FOLLOW which expands to each and every possible aspect of governance, along with stringent guidelines to be observed with this PARTY MACHINERY REMAINING ABOVE ITS ’TO BE FORMED GOVERNEMNT’, AND ANSWERABLE TO THE PEOPLE, WHILE ITS GOVERNEMNT IS ANSWERABLE TO THE PARTY AND NOT TO THE PEOPLE. This is in view of the Party having made promises to the people of Goa that it shall implement its ROADMAP for GOA as is written down and nothing else, and that, it shall be the responsibility of the PARTY to deliver those promises through its government.
